Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Locum Opportunity in Texas

Schedule: Full time

Shift Times: 7a start time with In House Call

Cases: bread and butter cases; endo, a little bit of general and low OB

License Requirement: Must have active TX license

• Types of cases: bread and butter and OB
  •Average about 180 case/month
  •6:30a – 5p (community hospital, sometimes it’s a little so and they may  be done at 3:30p)
  •All CRNA facility ( 4 FT providers)
  •Facility utilizes EPIC for medical charting but Anesthesia record is still on paper
  1.General surgery, orthopedic, podiatry, pain, endoscopy, urology, GYN, cataracts, some vascular (AV fistulas)
  2.Regional anesthesia service, TIVA, General Anesthesia
  3.One primary call per week, one backup call per week, one three day primary call per month, one backup call per month
  4.Primary call requires a 30 minute response time to facility
  5.190-225 cases/month
  6.0:4.5 (MD:CRNA)
  7.Staff requirements: 4 FT anesthetists, one 1/2 time anesthetist (vacation relief)
  8.All CRNA department
  9.ACLS/BLS
  11.40 bed hospital/Trauma Level 4
  12.30 deliveries/month
